Melanie is a compact cotton with a heavy wash for a relaxed soft feel. Compact cotton is a new technology of spinning. It creates a tighter and more compact weave and is designed to reduce the hairiness of the yarn. You will notice this in the construction of Melanie as the cloth is not transparent and has a smooth flat surface. This fabric is solid dyed and each colour in the range is developed and milled exclusively for us.
