Quality information:

Hoffman is a stretch cord. It is 18 wale meaning it has 18 cord/grooves per inch, this is a way of measuring cord. So the lower the number the thicker the cord stripes will be. 

This cord has a really good amount of stretch approx 30%. The wale is very fine is this cord so very subtle compared to a typical cord.

*Cord does have a nap so please keep this in mind when buying meterage. A nap is the raised surface on the fabric. When you brush your hand one way it will flatten the surface and if pushed the other way it will raise the fuzzy surface. Thus you want to cut your pants/garment all the same way.
